Exam board favoured by native speakers?

A colleague has just marked an AS paper by some of our students and looked at grade boundaries which seem to be much more severe at AQA than at EDEXEL for example.
I thought OFQAL were trying to ensure that exam board set roughly the same type of exam in terms of level of difficulty?
Perhaps there are many more native speakers sitting MFL exams with AQA and therefore pushing up the % needed to get the top grades? so was hoping that someone might have any information on the 'best' exam board to use if you are wanting to minimise the impact of native speakers.

    Hope someone can help.
