Even other teachers don't see the need for qualified staff.

  1. They never have done - as long as someone's in front of the class and the teacher in question's getting their PPA without a stream of "problems" being sent to them to sort out - the average teacher doesn't give a stuff about it.
    Look at the glee with which they welcomed PPA, welcomed cover supervisors and eagerly sold their supply colleagues out - and the reason I won't strike to protect the pensions of those who rubbed their hands with glee at the demise of the "overpaid crossword addicts."
