Essential resources for primary MFL ?

    What would be on your list? I'm used to secondary MFL ( some time ago) where we used text books with CD's, and I know they now use textivate, task magic etc. I made a lot of my own resources too.

    Do primary schools buy into things like that? Our school (where I'm hoping to teach a bit of MFL) uses Rigolo and MFL is delivered currently by class teachers.

    What resources would you consider essential for a primary MFL teacher?

    Set of good and appropriate bilingual dictionaries

    story books

    cultural DVDs (I have a good one by the BBC)

    CDs with songs

    cultural artefacts (for example I have a Mexican chocolate stirrer and Guatemalan worry dolls)

    Lots of puppets!

    Grammar books and lots of grammar with even more grammar and then extra grammar for those who don't want it and even more extra grammar for those who do.
