Equivalency Testing

Discussion in 'Thinking of teaching' started by malibuandmilk, Mar 3, 2020.

  1. I’ve finally decided to bite the bullet and get my QTS. However, I’m at a stumbling block with Science.
Do many providers accept equivalency tests?
If not, would I actually have to complete the entire science course or would I just take the exam.
I’m trying to apply for September 2020

Most itt I know accept equivalency tests. They may have a preference for which ones you use though and they are not always transferable between providers. Best bet is contact the providers you are interested in and ask them, although I wonder if any tests are running at the moment?

Yes, equivalency tests are fine. No issue.

  5. check with uni if they offer the exam or contact ‘a star equivalency tests’ or equivalencytesting.com
Last week....They have both told me along with my uni choice that the exam may be offered on line in August due to the Coronavirus situation.
