Hi looking for a reference to some published data that can be used as a research source..
need to get enthalpy of combustion values for ideally at least a selection of alcohol isomers up to C6.
Don't ask! its a scottish research activity for our N5 course...
    Can any one help.
Bit short of time on this one!
    many thanks

Have you tried the wolfram search engine, which I understand specialises in these sorts of things. I'd also look to see if there are any links from the RSC website.

The old Nuffield A level chemistry data book has lot of data. Failing that I'd try to track down a CRC handbook of physics and chemistry. They might have a website but I suspect you'd have to pay.
    Good luck

Have you checked out Stontium Chemistry? All scottish chemistry.... because obviously it all changes north of the border ;-)
