After another week in which my wonderful staff were driven to the edge by the latest missive from the DfE, enough is enough.
Come on headteachers - get behind the NAHT or whichever professional organisation you belong to, and make your feelings known.
Let's move to abandon at least the current writing assessment, if not all testing for this year. Many primary schools boycotted over far less in 2010.
For the sake of our education system and the mental health of our teachers andpupils, let's say enough is enough!

great post. but teachers are now spineless, ground down by the threat of Ofsted and the national curriculum thought police. So we, as a body, will do nothing except whinge in the staff room.

    Hasn't it been half term?
I've not seen any new missives this week????

And you say 'come on headteachers' maybe post on the headteacher forum?
As class teachers we don't get to boycott anything!
