    Hi there,

Mathletics has been a great hit in our school with both the children and parents, so I am looking for an English version to generate the same interest!

Thanks in advance for your help!

There is a spelling version, which is part of Mathletics, and seems to come free. I think you access it off the main admin page.

Although it is quite different to Mathletics, we use 'Reading Eggs' to support home learning as the texts are quite appealing and the reading strategy and comprehension questions are useful, especially with the 2014NC.

You do have to pay for the spelling part of mathletics (spellodrome), but children can flick between one and the other and use the same login so you don't need to set them all up again.

Reading eggs is fantastic. It assesses the children's level and starts them off on books which they can read fairly confidently and this also asks them questions to improve their comprehension skills. There are other sections of activities too and they can collect eggs to spend in the shop which is a great motivating factor.
