Discussion in 'Primary' started by potatogirl, Jan 20, 2012.

  1. In the summer we are staging our first end of term performance of KS2 - 52 kids in total.
Apart from the "Out of the Ark " people can any one recommend any other suppliers of ready written performances/musicals that are *** proof and good. please.....

  4. Why not write your own. 52 children sounds like 2 Year 6 classes.
You could do Songs from the Shows or Songs from the Decades with groups of children learning songs from either. Scripts would be easily written as you could just do a blurb on the individual show/decade and give it for the kids to learn. Therefore maybe only about a dozen max would need a speaking part - rest lean the songs off a CD - sing a long style. Costumes would be simple too.

  5. You really should check out Musicline at www.musiclinedirect.com
They seem to have got their act together in the last year or so.
Their "Craig Hawes" musicals especially have all the hints & tips a novice producer needs.
One word of warning; the Musicline site employs all the bells & whistles (cookies/javascript etc) which may cause aspects of the site to be blocked on your school computer.
We always use a personal PC with cookies & javascript enabled so we can read the script and listen to the songs etc........
