Electronic Markbook

Discussion in 'Assessment' started by drewbrown1982, Mar 26, 2011.

  1. Hi,
i'm fed up with spending valuable time trying to navigate my planner's markbook page at the end, colouring in and updating assessment grades and tracking progress. I've used electronic markbooks in the past, but find them not significantly easier to use or to track pupils' progress.
What i'd like is a markbook that automatically updates pupils' progress using a traffic light system when i enter their most recent attainment grades, making it more simple and visual to identify pupils that are falling behind.
Does anybody have, or know how to do this on a spreadsheet? I'm sure there must be a way, but i don't have the time or the knowledge at the moment to find out!
