Edexcel modular Higher unit 3 revison list

    I have just posted a draft Foundation revision list, anyone like to share a Higher one?

    I've done a Higher list now, not as easy as Foundation as a lot of topics ocassionally turn up, this is from the last few papers; June and Nov 2010 and Nov 2009. It picks up the main topcis, have I missed anything?

    Add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions including mixed numbers
    Find fractions of amounts
    Percentages -write one number as a fraction of another and convert to a percentage
    - calculate percentage increases
    - find original values when given sale price
    -Simple and compound interest
    Converting currencies eg £ to euros
    ‘Best Buy’ questions
    Simplifying ratio and dividing in a given ratio, calculating recipe quantities to serve different numbers of people calculating lengths on scale drawings
    Use a calculator efficiently including calculating with standard form
    Given price of several items find the price of one
    Direct and inverse proportion
    Trial and improvement
    Simplifying with surds
    Forming and solving equations
    Substituting positive and negative numbers into formula
    Simplifying expressions with indices include fractional and negative indices
    Solving inequalities and showing on a number line
    Solving simultaneous equations
    Draw graphs of quadratic functions
    Finding the equations of a straight line
    Solve quadratic equations by factorising or using the quadratic formula
    Rearranging formula
    Transformations of graphs
    Completing the square to find maximum and minimum points of curves
    Draw and interpret distance time graphs
    Construct triangles, angle bisectors and perpendicular bisectors
    Area and circumference of circles and parts of circles (area and perimeter of sectors)
    Calculate interior and exterior angles in polygons (regular and irregular)
    Circle Theorems
    Nets, plans and elevations, isometric drawings
    Volumes of triangular prisms
    Transformations- reflections, rotations, translations and enlargements
    Calculate lengths in similar shapes
    Trigonometry in right angled triangles (SOHCAHTOA)

    Find upper and lower bounds and use them in calculation
    Dimensions in formula
    Changing between different square units eg cm2 to mm2
