    Hi one and
all, I am a health and social care lecturer at a Catholic Sixth Form College in
Bristol. I wonder if anyone has any words of wisdom to share concerning
improving our achievement in this exam. I have attended the Edexcel training
day which I found helpful and tried to follow the advice but we are still just
under the national average with our results. I worked harder than ever in the
few months leading up to the Jan 2012 exam with numerous practice papers,
planning of longer answer questions and making sure all the key areas were
covered. I must say I was disappointed when it came to the final results. I
can't work much harder, but I must be able to work better - any ideas? Where we
are particularly weak is in obtaining A and B grades. This January only one A
grade and about 3 B grades from over 100 students. I would really appreciate
any ideas to be dropped on this forum but have also listed my work email
    address as well

    pfd@stbrn.ac.uk

    Thanks

    Paul

  2. Anyone?

  3. Hello,
I did this at my previous work, and it is very very hard. We never had good results, even though we did what you are doing.
We had to work hard on their coursework grades to get them upto scratch,
Sorry couldn't help but just wanted to let you know that you are not alone.
