Earth, sun and moon art ideas

  1. I'm doing this project and we are making 3D models of the planets to scale along with origami stars which we are then going to hang from the ceiling in the classroom.
We're also going to do some marbling and create landscapes for different imaginary planets.
In DT we're making space buggies.
  2. Google Dan Morris - he has done some amazing art.

  3. We invented out own planets and aliens and coloured them using aquarelle pencils, then painted over them with water. I used black backing paper on the display and laminated some of the planets and aliens and hung them from the ceiling to create a 3D display. The display was beautiful and the children loved looking at it. They kept on standing in front of it and smiling!
