Duck legs

  1. My oven has broken and I had some duck legs I wanted to cook so I rubbed in chinese 5 spice and salt and fried off in a pan then put in the slow cooker with just a splash of soya sauce. Left them for about 5 hours and was amazed at how delicious and tender they were. The fat oozed out of them and they basically fried gently for the whole time in the duck fat. A really easy way of doing confit of duck. Just thought I would share
