Dream Role, Dream School...what next?

  1. Hi! So here is my position. I completed my ITT in Australia through a Bachelor of Art/psychology with the Diploma of Education in primary. I qualified but then did not complete an induction year. I have relocated to the UK permanently and after having volunteered in local schools and working as a youth worker I applied for an NQT role at an Academy School. The school have offered me a position starting in September and want to put me through induction. I'm just wondering how this will work as I believe I can't be awarded QTS here automatically due to not having completed induction in Australia...everything I have read on the DfE websites etc has confused me more!!

  3. I would edit the title/start a new thread beginning "Dear Theo.." as it's quite a specialist situation you are in and I'm not sure how many people there will be that will know the answer. Good luck!

  4. Oops forgot which forum this was on. I meant "Dear Sage.." or post in Jobseekers titled "Dear Theo.."

  5. Thanks, first time user and have re-posted this on the overseas qualified forum :)
