Dr Seuss in the Early Years?

Discussion in 'Early Years' started by camrox, Oct 26, 2011.

  1. Hi there
I was wondering if anyone think that 'the cat in the hat' or green eggs and ham' by Dr Seuss are suitable for use in the early years?
Im a student teacher in London
    Thank you

I do not like green eggs and ham
  7. They are absolutely brilliant books and good for getting children to join in for those early LSL points. My classes always love Fox in Socks, and like it even more when I get the words all muddled up!
  8. I doubt dr suess was thinking about 'lsl points' when he wrote his books...
