Can your class write them? Children often like writing lyrics that link to school.

We did this for last year's end of year show.
Changed 'small town boy' to 'name of school boy'. It was bloody brilliant. My favourite leavers song of the last few years.
  3. That's a good idea! They might be a little young though... Year 3.

This is what I've got so far...

    We?re from ________ School,
Trying hard in all we do,
Science, literacy and read, write Inc.
New things everyday, working hard in learning and play
We all listen well, and give our best.

    Mrs _________, you?re the best,
    Teaching us to respect,
With a smile we will get things right,
Learning on and on and on and on.

    Children learning,
Trying to find their way through life,
    Their knowledge building everyday,
    We love our school,
We think it is really cool,
  4. Also did it for leavers last year - found a version on here in resources - try searching on leavers assembly songs.
