Do your students love writing book reviews?

Discussion in 'English' started by nickydyer, Feb 10, 2011.

  1. Somehow I doubt it. Traditional book review formats are enough to spoil a good book. Take a look at this book review template - a little more interesting I think. Sorry don't know how to attach the file so you will need to follow this link and plug in your email address.
If any of you use it, I'd be interested to know how it went.
  2. Most good newspapers print book reviews.
So cut a few out, tell them how much the reviewer earns (choose top papers obviously, there's an element of therapeutic lying here), and you should see an increase in enthusiasm.
