Do you have a written report (secondary)?

Discussion in 'Assessment' started by MrLock, Jun 16, 2011.

  1. A question to secondary school teachers; do you need to do a full written report for all students?
If so, do you have a minimum word limit, or something else? Are there minimum expectations?
We only had numbered reports (but three times a year), but the staff have said they want to do a written report and we've tried it this year - it's been a lot of work though.
  2. We write a full report at the end of the year. This has to include 3 things: end of year NC level, then a comment including what pupil has done well and a piece of EBI. Only a few sentences required, but it still takes time
