Do The British Need Our Own Emojis?

    "Finland's foreign ministry has launched a set of official emojis, and a once-ubiquitous Nokia handset is among them.

    More than 30 icons will be available for people to download, representing "important things associated with Finland"

    The article doesn't actually say what purpose the emojis will serve, but it does indicate they've spend a bit of money thinking about them and having them created.

    If you were put in charge of creating emojis that reflect life in modern day Britain, what might they represent? Would we for example have a "Kiss my butt" one?

    Regrettably, the Yankee spellchecker isn't very fond of the British variant.
