Do I need extra training??

    Hi I am qualified as a primary teacher with specialism in pe. My course was primary ed with pe. I am now thinking of going up to secondary (I've done 3yrs at primary) anyone know how I would do this??

    The simple answer is just apply. You qualify to teach, rather than a specific age range. I assume you want to teach PE? Just a word of caution, PE jobs are hard to come by and you would be competing with teacher who trained to teach the specific age range. Are middle schools an option for transition? Lots have staff have moved phases through our school, when considering changes of phase.
