Do Children's Centre Teachers still exist?

Discussion in 'Early Years' started by bruno71, Apr 2, 2011.

  1. They definitely do still exist- I am one! I am on maternity leave at the moment, but as far as I know in my LA there haven't been any redundancies yet. I know lots of neighbouring LAs that are restructuring or reinventing the role. Worrying times for us all really.... There used to be a requirement to have a QT in all phase one centres, but the gov have removed this so it is probably only a matter of time before the role fades out.
