Discussion in 'Trainee and student teachers' started by rosems, Mar 12, 2012.

  1. I am a
third geography undergraduate studying at Coventry University. I am completing
my dissertation on areas of geography in education as I intend to pursue a
career in the education sector. </font>

    I have
interviewed many professionals within various sectors of the education system
such as teachers, PGCE tutors and members of both the RGS and GA but feel I
need to gain information from those currently studying the PGCE or those that
have begun there NQT year. </font>

    Project -
    The pedagogy of geography within
schools with emphasis on the training of geography teachers and how this
    impacts the subject

of the subject, the government&rsquo;s response to
geography within education and how National Curriculum reforms have had an
    impact on the subject.

unable to interview a focus group I was hoping that by posting on this forum I
