Dissertation on play in key stage 1

Discussion in 'Trainee and student teachers' started by neelab, Apr 7, 2012.

  1. Hi

Im doing some research on play in key stage 1.

    My research questions are:

What are the views of practitioners about the benefits and limitations of play as pedagogy for learning?
Why do practitioners hold these views?
How do the practitioners feel learning through play may help or hinder the children and their learning?

Anyone doing similar research? Drop me an email n_sultani@hotmail.co.uk

    Thanks

  3. Hiya,

Sorry I know this was 2 years ago. I am looking at researching play in key stage 1 and wondered how you found it? I've also looked at researching the transition between reception and year 1 but I'm struggling to narrow it down!
