Disappointedly pleased!...

  1. Hi everyone,
I didn't get the job but I've received some excellent feedback from the head teacher who said I have masses of potential. I made it through to the afternoon session when we were reduced from 6 to 4 and the head has also welcomed me back to the school voluntarily so that I can get some much needed experience.
I wish the candidates who got the jobs every success in the world. It would be a lovely school to work in!
I adored teaching that lesson too (eyes lighting up and glistening!!).
All in all - a very valuable experience.

  3. What a great way to look at it gilbert and you must have done okay for the head to let you go in voluntarily.

    Good luck for the future.

Magnanimous in failure! Well done for taking a positive spin on what must be a real disappointment.
Hang onto that! That's why you're going to make a good teacher one day!

Sorry that you were disappointed, but I'm impressed that the Head has taken so much time to be helpful.
That shows that you impressed them no end!
A good learning experience that should lead to a happier outcome next time.
    Best wishes
