With many schools now incorporating Digital Art and Media in Creative Studies is there a fear that traditional drawing and painting skills will diminish over the coming years.

Have you read the new OFSTED report? See previous posting. It's the breadth of drawing that is missing from art ed so, in fact, new media can help with that. I've watched boys be totally engaged drawing with an iPad- boys who are turned off by being given a piece of A4 paper and a stick of charcoal!
  3. yes. Digital Art is accessible but drawing is a technical subject hard to acquire without practice.
