Different GCSE ICT Exam Boards

Discussion in 'Computing and ICT' started by pritprat, Nov 22, 2011.

  1. Unhappy experiences with OCR with the old syllabus. Constantly changing goalposts and constantly changing advice about what was needed. I haven't heard anything to suggest they've made any changes to anything they used to do with the new syllabus. The same people are probably in charge? Currently doing AQA GCSE ICT. Awful. Boring, boring, boring and pupils hate it with a passion, especially the controlled assessments, which have dragged on for what seems like years. Also, very suspect advice given out at training sessions so far (contradicts written requirements) and the are currently running unit 3 training only in the north and south and none in the middle - how f*****g stupid is that?
