Difference between INFO and EXPLANATION text

Discussion in 'Primary' started by mimijj, Nov 11, 2009.

  1. Hiya
Can anyone tell me the difference, in terms of features, etc, between information texts and explanation texts.

  2. I don't tend to use the term information text - aren't they non-chronological reports?
Explanation texts explain how a process or machine works. Specifically, they are written in present tense.
