Wow. If your professional persona is anything like the one you portray on here, I'm not surprised in the slightest that you have relationship issues with your employer. You come across very badly.

Oh dear... I think your original question was designed to probe or flush out the kind of response above.

"just curiosity based on the observation that you seem to have alienated some very strong and sensible
TES posters who I know to consistently offer very good advice."

    Please leave me alone...

Of course you do, that kind of thinking allows you to justify me being at fault for your unpleasant responses rather than you taking responsibility for your own behaviour. No doubt all your issues at school are also the fault of others and not yourself.

For the record, I had no such intention when posting the question and frequently ask these type of questions on here to get an understanding of posters' processes - the direction taken by this dialogue is on you. My advice would be to not overlook the mirror when searching for the root of your problems.

OK OK so many people have had a go at me on here I was advised not to go back on here as it's often too stressful. I think your saying again though is that it's you mate... your'e the problem can't you see? how's that helping? unless your'e high handedly thinking that youre helping the profession by routing out the bad apple? telling them to go away get out of the profession? Ive worked in good supportive environments so I know the difference/ I'm not wet behind the ears. please don't post anymore unless you have some supportive advice not passive aggressive criticism - please...

Mike please. You're embarrassing yourself. I don't want to make any enemies and have previously been told I'm wrong on here. It simply allows you to become the professional and reflect on your ideas and behaviours. I have every sympathy for you and your situation.

I don't think we should have brought The Arsenal into this...

I come on here to help me forget just how dodgy our defence is.

    Is nothing sacred?

Do actors learn to love their critics? It annoys me when people are so high handed... not you but some of the others. Why do they come on here? to help people or for validation? It seems theyre claiming the establishment. I'll always go against that. confucius says to always question things and it's not always the answers you require...

Leave it Mike - it's time to stop.

Never trust a team with **** in the name - It was meant to point out that if people are saying "it's you mate youre the problem..."what the hell are you supposed to do with that? Managers take what they can from the dissenters the fans the well wishers the board and everything and try make sense of it all then they go ahead - they won't be drawn on people talking about them being a loser - as Frank said once "I did it my way" Yeah Ranieri just got fired!

    Hello everyone,

Thank you to everyone who has offered advice on this thread. However, I'm locking it now to prevent issues in this discussion escalating.

Please can I remind everyone of the following:

    Community Guidelines

The TES Community Team is keen to maintain healthy, vibrant and intelligent debate, however in order to keep our platforms enjoyable and inviting we require users to adhere to the following guidelines. These apply to forum posts as well as comments on articles and blog posts.

Full Terms and Conditions can be found here

    1. Personal attacks: Users will not personally attack fellow members of the community, including authors and staff. Offensive, lewd or threatening language will not be tolerated; neither will attacking users based on their race, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age.

    3. Inappropriate language: We do not tolerate obscene or inflammatory language on the forums. An automatic filter will censor them out and users should not attempt to bypass the filter (eg by using alternative characters). If you’d like to make a comment about the language filter please do so by emailing the Community Team.

    Code of Conduct

The TES Community is where anyone interested in education can come to debate and share advice, find others that share their interests and let off steam. We understand that some of the debates can get heated, but we expect our members to treat others with courtesy and respect. When posting a message on the TES Community, please use the same courtesy you would show when speaking face-to-face with someone.

Don’t forget that your use of the TES Community is subject to these guidelines and our terms and conditions.

    Respect others
    • The TES Community has thousands of members who may not agree with your opinions or share your beliefs, but please be polite and respectful when communicating with other members.
    • Do not use the TES Community forums, groups or blogs to threaten, harass, bully, stalk or abuse anyone. We do not tolerate personal attacks.

    Accept responsibility for your actions

You may be held legally accountable for what you say or do online. In particular, you may be held liable for any defamatory comments, threats and untrue statements or other illegal or fraudulent claims made by you.

Remember that everything you post is a public comment, so be careful about how much personal information you give away.

    • Don't pick on or bully another user.
    • Don't attack another forum or encourage others to do so - if you have a problem with any thread, post or user please use the Report abuse option and provide us with details.
    • If you post a message with the sole purpose of winding others up, this is called flaming. If you are flamed and you attack back, you will spark a flame war.
    • A swear filter is in place to block out offensive words, don't purposely swear using methods to get around this.
    • If you don't enjoy the topic of the thread, close it and open another or start your own but don't leave a rude post.
    • Remember other users are human beings with feelings and emotions so think before you type.

Please note that the moderation policy clearly states:

We reserve the right to remove content, lock threads, ban members or moderate user posts in our moderated forums at our discretion - we won't enter into debates regarding any sanction.

Threads or posts may be deleted and members may be banned at the sole discretion of TES moderation staff without notice.

We reserve the right to amend our moderation policy at any time without notice.

The house rules are there to maintain the spirit and tone of the Community. If any user fails to adhere to the house rules by making serious breaches or repeatedly flouting any of the other guidelines, terms and conditions, code of conduct and forum netiquette this will be considered a deliberate attempt to disrupt and destabilise the Community and as a result their posting privileges will be reviewed.
