Has anyone used any interesting texts to support teaching diary entries to year 4? I know there is the world famous Adrian Mole but didn't know if there was anything more modern which people have used.

    Thanks for those ideas
  4. The Diary of a Wimpy Kid books - my year 6s love them. they're set out just like a series of diary entries and are very funny.

I'd not heard of those books. Just had a quick look at them online and they look great so ordered them. Hopefully they will enthuse the children on diary entries. Thanks.
