DFE ref number and GTC Reg No

Discussion in 'Jobseekers' started by SlightlyMadScientist, Feb 18, 2012.

  1. Hi,
I am currently filling in my first job application for my first ever teaching job <Eeek>.
The form has space for both a "DFE ref number" and "GTC Reg No.". I have done a bit of googling which suggests that they are one and the same thing. As this is a job application and therefore pretty important I thought it worth confirming that this is the case with you guys.
Assuming that they are the same thing what do you recommend as being best on the application form? Fill in one and ignore the other? Fill in both identically?
    Thanks in advance.

Yes, you're right, these are the same number. the GTC is shortly to be disbanded anyway, so when they finally print new forms there should just be the one number.
" Fill in both identically?" [IMG] This is what I do.
