Developing the primary ICT curriculum.

Discussion in 'Computing and ICT' started by vickirose1986, Jan 29, 2012.

  1. Hi all,

    I'm in the
process of re-developing my primary school's ICT curriculum and wondered if anyone
    had any advice/ suggestions/ ideas?

    I am thinking of
going down a skills based approach (using Chris Quigley) – has anyone had any
experience of going down this route? How
have the staff in your school responded to any changes?

    Any feedback at
    all would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in

I gave all year leaders a list of skills last year that I would like the children to learn (although I did give each year the skills for years 3 - 6 so they could differentiate). I've asked them to use these to support their topic work where appropriate. Inbox me if you want anymore info and I'll give you my email address.
