Developing outside area- convinving head and governors

Discussion in 'Early Years' started by purplecircles, Jan 9, 2011.

  1. I am trying to convince the head and the governors to invest in our outside area for items such as a wooden house and some floor markings. Does anyone have any links to some good publications that I could take some quotes from / photos to show them how important outside play is?
  2. Could you ask your LEA EYs advisor to come in and "advise". We wouldn't of got ours without our LEA advisors support. She came in as part of our LEAs support programme and after listening to us (moan), she wrote a bit in her report about improving the outdoor oppourtunities and it went from there.
