    Hi all
My topic this term is on fire - great fire of London. In DT i would love the children to deisgn and build a timber style house from the 1600s however i am unsure how to go about it.
Has anyone got any ideas on materials, design etc and how to build one?

    Thank you : ) xx

There certainly used to be a book with a Build-it-yourself Tudor House, which children enjoyed making.
Get the children to look at some houses, design one themselves -suggestsuitable materials e g lolly sticks, cereal boxes etc & then make them, No doubt the children will come up with some even better suggestions themselves.
