    Hello all

Does anyone else have Teaching Assistants that have been deployed to specific Faculties? If so, how do you manage this, who is responsible? Faculty Head or SENCO???

Yes . Deployed TAs to core full time ( and at one time had sufficient bodies to attach to MFL, Hums and PA ). The Faculty Heads needed to understand the rationale behind the deployment of their specialist TA ( ie no rogue allocation ) so became their responsibilty in terms of time tabling and performance management. Other members of the TA team usually had some input into the other curriculum areas I mentioned but would have also been allocated other responsibilities ( eg social skills group work, literacy, protective behaviours, or SpLD type intervention etc ....and so would have been line managed and appraised by the SENCO / Inclusion Manager.
