Demanding stimuli

Discussion in 'Drama and performing arts' started by obsteve, Nov 16, 2011.

  1. I read once (I think in Cicely Berry's "Voice and the Actor") that that the more demanding the stimulus, the more the students will extend themselves to meet the challenge of the text
I have recently been using poetry, partly because of the vocal demands, partly because of the dramatic potential.
My KS3 students called their project "Liam Leonard", and based it
around a poetic student in a sporty school (a classic environmental
    conflict!)
You can see an extract from the final film of our drama here
I would love to know your thoughts

  2. Thanks Newaction :)
I agree it is so tough to know what will get the moderators going! What exam board are you doing?
