Dear Theo - Speculative letters

Normally speculative letters just get weeded out by the school secretary, and never get to the Head. However, with you being Maths, you might just get lucky if you address your letter, in person, to the Head of Maths.
So look on their website to see if there is a staff list. If there isn't, ring up the school and say you want to write to the Head of Maths but want to get the spelling right, could they please spell the name for you.
With an actual name on the envelope, the letter should get through.
    Good luck!

I do Application and Interview one-to-ones, and also contribute to the Job Application Workshops. We look at application letters, executive summaries and interviews, with practical exercises that people really appreciate.
The next Job Seminars are all sold out, I'm afraid.
E-mail Julia on advice@tsleducation.com for how to book a meeting with me personally.
    Look forward to seeing you!
