  1. Tomorrow I am going to visit a school have you got any suggestions of questions I could ask during my visit?
    Thanks

What do you want to know?
Ask questions that will help you write your application- which after school clubs do they run? Do teachers plan as a team? Any subject strengths they are looking for? Which year group is the vacancy for? Supportive parents?
Usually, most of your questions are answered as you walk around and the Head say his/her bit.
Play it by ear- a burning question may come to you as you trot round.

    Exactly!
And if you get all the info without needing to ask anything, that's fine.
Do not not not NOT ask a question just to impress.
    Do NOT!
    Best wishes

Because - trust us as experienced heads - such questions invariably do the opposite of 'impress'.
