Dear Theo- References

  1. Hello Theo,
I would like your advice on who to put in the references section of job application forms.
<font size="2">I am an NQT who
qualified in July 2010 and have recently been doing supply work whilst applying
for permanent jobs. Up until now, I have been using my university progress
tutor and the head teacher of my final teaching practice school as my
    references. </font>
I have recently been supplying at a local school who expect me to
be with them for the rest of the summer term (the teacher I am covering for is
on sick leave and is not expected to return this year). I have been teaching
there for a month now and the head teacher is happy to write me a reference.
Would it be better to have this head teacher as my reference
instead of my final teaching placement head teacher?

Also, I would it be better to put my supply agency as a reference
instead of my university progress tutor? They are a LA supply service and I
know they have given me good references before, as schools have told me they
had recommended me due to good feedback from previous supply jobs.
    <font size="2">Many Thanks </font>
    <font size="2">Alison </font>
