Dear Theo - previous career on application form?

    Dear Theo
    I've just posted this on career clinic but I think that this is probably the best place.
    I'm a Primary NQT who qualified in July 2010 having previously spent many years in banking.
    I'm trying to fill in an application form but the box where one has to give details of previous employment only seems to refer to previous employment in teaching positions.

    The sections come under headings of LEA, Name &
    Type School & Pupil Ratio, Position Held, Duration, Full Time/Part Time,
    Reason for leaving.


    Given that I haven't yet been employed as a teacher (other
    than as a daily supply teacher), I don't see how I can fill this in. Yet I have
    many years work experience and CVs aren't accepted. Do I just ignore my previous
    career?


    It's a standard council form by the way that each school in
    this particular LA sends out.
