Dear Theo, or anyone who can help - closing date time

Discussion in 'Jobseekers' started by emmavf, Jun 23, 2011.

  1. If a vacancy has a closing date for applications but not a time, by what time on that day should you be aiming to get your application in by, does it matter?

Our LA always has noon on the date specified, but I wouldn't risk that & assume the previous day to be certain.

Your guess is as good as mine . . .
It will be whatever the school decides - first post, say.
I shouldn't assume that you can post it through the letterbox at one minute to midnight, or even at 4.30 in the afternoon.
It might, if they've set aside time that day for doing the shortlisting . . .
