Dear Theo or anyone else who knows...

  1. Who do I address my application to? I know it is the head teacher normally, but this school has an executive head teacher and a head of school...
    There was no letter that came with the application pack, so I have no idea. Suggestions please!

  3. Phone and ask? The executive headteacher and head of school are probably not going to answer the phone when you call, so they won't know you asked. And when I call a school to ask a Q about submitting an app, I never give my name, I just say 'I'm interested in X post and wondered if you could please tell me...'. Good luck

    Yes, you could ring. Although the secretary may have no more idea than you, and just say the first thing that comes into her head!
    Or you could just address it to the Head of School, unless it is a SLT post, in which case it should be to the Executive Head.
