Dear Theo - line spacing

Discussion in 'Jobseekers' started by supply slave, Mar 19, 2012.

  1. Morning Theo. Is it better to line space paragraphs at 1.5 or leave no line spacing at all? Only ask as no spacing seems very cramped but if I line space 1.5 for easier reading I don't know what I can cut out.

What I do is have normal line spacing at 1.0. That doesn't seem cramped to me, writing in Calibri 12. Then I do before/after paragraph 3 or 4pt, giving overall an extra 6 or 8pt between paragraphs.
    That looks neat.
Do make sure that you have normal sized margins at sides and top/bottom. A good amount of white space overall gives a good feel to the document.
    Best wishes
