Dear Theo - I've got an interview!

Discussion in 'Jobseekers' started by sparklyrainbowfish, Feb 9, 2011.

  1. Thanks Theo
I have indeed looked at the clickables already!
Visiting again probably is overkill, I'll just have to base it on a generic classroom layout and judge at the time. Good idea about asking for a quick toilet break etc. - I just feel I'd need to have time to reflect on the lesson and mentally prepare for the interview.
Thanks again for all your great advice. [IMG]

  5. Hi Theo. I am in a similar position to sparkly as I also have an interview next week. I just have a question regarding what the day could involve. I have been sent a letter which states that I should arrive at 8am at the school. The morning will then consist of activites which will test my aptitude for the position (I am a PGCE student and this is my first interview)????
What activites do you think they will be? They haven't mentioned anything about teaching a lesson, so surely they would not spring this one on all the candidates as we have had no time to plan.
If we are successful then we go through to the interview in the afternoon.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
