    Hello Theo!
After a million (if feels like) applications I finally got myself an interview! Hurrah!
The lesson and task were today and we were told we would be invited to interview tomorrow if they liked us/ we were successful.
They asked me back on the spot :D.
    My questions are:
    1) Do I need a portfolio of (something) for tomorrow?
    2) What do I put in it (your link to this on another post doesn't seem to work for me!)
    3) Any curve balls I should expect?
    Thank you

Not Theo but from my 'fellow jobseeker's point of view'.
    1) If they haven't asked you to provide a portfolio, I wouldn't worry. If you already have one from previous interviews you could take it along just in case.
    2) Anything which shows what an outstanding teacher you are.
    3) You'de need a Crystal Ball for this by the very nature of a 'curve ball' .
    Good luck with it!

Great news - you HAVE done well!
If they haven't asked for one, no need to panic about it. But if you want to do one, or have one ready, no harm in taking it along.
For your portfolio, you don't say what stage you are; it will be different for KS1 and sixth-form teaching!
But obvious things would seem to be:
    • Schemes of work, lesson plans, examples of students' work coming out of those lessons.
    • An exercise book to show the quality of your marking.
    • Perhaps data on a teaching group and showing how you have differentiated to support the different ability groups?
    • And if relevant, exam results, raw and value-added.
    • If Primary, photos of your classroom, displays, smiling happy children.
Here's a thread with some more suggestions.
Very best of luck for the Big Day Tomorrow!
