    Hi!
I'd like to thank everyone for all the advice posted on these forums. I'd also like to thank Theo for recommending "Pimp Your Lesson". It was vastly helpful when I had to go for my interview earlier this week.
    Thanks, again!

And another 'success story' of someone who's got a post. Shows it is still possible.
    HUGE CONGRATULATIONS! Go celebrate.

  4. Hi all
I too got a job today.
I have been reading this forum but not posting that often for over a year now since I decided it was time to move on and I have read lots of invaluable advice. I think my new school and role will be a huge challenge for me but I'm really excited at the prospect so thanks to everyone whose advice I have utilised.
I'll probably be on here much less as I will be too busy now but Good Luck to everyone who is looking for new posts.

Theo has a little tradition here that you need to start a whole new thread entitled Dear Theo I got a job today.
Then you get your own shiny star and others can post to congratulate you.

  6. ok will do - thanks for the advice Lara

You buy the book from Amazon - it tells you how to prepare and deliver an observed lesson.
