I feel like I've been waiting forever to make this post!
After three years of supply and short-term contracts, countless applications, loads of interviews, and a heck of a lot of tears, I've finally landed a permanent job! The school is fantastic, it's actually an independent school, and I know I'm going to be very happy there.

I owe much credit to Theo's application and interview advice, so thank you for that! And I also wanted to say to everyone who's struggling, hang in there. The job for you is out there somewhere!
  2. what a wonderful post, I'm so happy for you - and you have given hope to many others, including myself. Congratulations!

I do Application and Interview one-to-ones, and also contribute to the Job Application Workshops. We look at application letters, executive summaries and interviews, with practical exercises that people really appreciate.
