Dear Theo: I got the job!!!!!

Discussion in 'Jobseekers' started by loupoupo, Jun 11, 2011.

  1. Hi everyone, I had an interview on Thursday and I couldn't believe when, after a horrible waiting time with my phone on my hands for 3 hours and going through all the interview answers that I wasn't happy with, they offered me the job!!

I was without breath since I had had mostly rejections on the phone and it was such a relieve...
It's incredible, after 22 applications with no reply I got this interview through agency, my first interview this year, and I got it. Thanks God because I was so stressed. Even when I was going to the interview on the train they called me from another school with an interview next day! But instead of being happy it did stress me more because I needed 3 days ti prepare for this interview ( mostly emotionally and obviously the lessons, etc) and I was so immensely tired that I could not have make it fir the interview next day unless I stay all night preparing myself.

I know this process is draining and I wish you good luck in your job hunt. Again, check with agencies, I always worked through them, first a term then a year contract and now, finally, a permanent position. I'm si nervous fir September and I will have to move because the school is quite far from home.

Thanks everyone fir your advices and dont give up. Loupo
