I've never posted before, just been reading your comments.

Went for an interview on Thursday and thanks to your interview advice, I'll be starting my new role as Head of Humanities in September.

I have been head of history for 10 years and have been looking for a new management route for the last 18 months and can now finally say I'm Head of Humanities in September!

    Thanks again!

    You're a Star, a Sparkly Star, @UncleRob !

And I expect that other posters will want to congratulate you too, as you give them hope for their own job seeking.

You've really done yourself proud with that job offer, so you get a star!

Now go and read the advice for the next stage:

Got a job offer? What to do next!

And if you have even more time, read this one too:

    Get yourself organised!

    Best wishes

That augurs well for your department, as you are well conversant with teaching in the classroom to be able to direct and help colleagues.

    So [IMG] to you.

A wonderful new challenge for you.
