Hi Theo, well I promised I'd post when offered a job so here it is!

After 5 interviews and starting to give up hope, I finally got offered a job today! it's a full time maternity cover position in year 1 and I'm delighted! (Ideally permanent would have been better but I really don't mind!)

Just wanted to say thank you Theo- your advice and blogs have been so useful, couldn't have done it without you!

And for people still looking- don't give up, your dream job will come to you :)

    Look first at

A permanent post isn't really permanent until after two years, and temporary ones can change, so don't mind it too much!

There you are - the advice on here can give you confidence - and a job!

Now go and read and Red-Heart that Blog . . .

Oh, that must be so reassuring after 5 interviews. (You obviously learnt from them.)
