Dear Theo- how long should a teaching statement be?

    Dear Theo,
I am writing my teaching statement and applying for jobs. The suggested length by the school is 1-4 pages of A4. As an NQT, I have no idea how long mine is expected to be! Is a page and a hal f acceptable?

    Well . . .
You really should be doing something more fpocussed on the individual school that you are applying for, although it will include a lot of material that is the same from the previous application.
So as the overall application letter or statement should be 2 sides A4 in normal size type, the 1.5 pages you have done can probably be incorporated into that in one way or another.
